PCO Confirms Ring Of Honor Contract Status, Goals He Still Has In The Company
There may be no greater career rebirth in the last several years than that of Pierre Carl Ouellet. The former Quebecer and original pirate gimmick in the WWF turned into a Frankenstein like monster just referred to as PCO. He signed with Ring of Honor and has found a home there.
Now PCO has confirmed to WrestleZone that he’s contracted with Ring of Honor through December 1st, 2021. Considering how quick they’ve moved to retain their top talent, one would expect them to get to work on signing an extension for him, but he’s currently in no rush to leave the company. More importantly, he has goals for what he wants to do with the company and hopefully some of it as the world returns to normal.
“I keep working on the character, I keep on pushing ideas, and I’ve got ideas, and I’ve got different goals. I’m just very confident for what the character can offer and also not just what the character can offer but something very new, and something very different in a way. Very different in a way that we haven’t seen. Like I said, we haven’t tapped into the full potential. We’ve done great things…but I think, as a character, I gotta be meaner, and I gotta be darker, and it’s gonna be scary, so that’s what I’m aiming for when everything goes back to normal.”
The company continues to utilize their strategy of their COVID-19 bubble and taking care of their employees through the course of the pandemic that has had several of their top stars pleased. While PCO’s contract doesn’t expire for a little over seven months and things can change between now and then, PCO seems quite happy with where he’s at.
