Tony Khan Reveals AEW Will Have Four Shows By End Of 2021
When Paul Wight signed with AEW, he was announced as one of the commentators for a new show on YouTube. While the signing itself was a big enough shock, many people were even more shocked they were adding a second YouTube show to the AEW programming with the new AEW Dark: Elevation.
Many people didn’t see this coming and saw this as them changing their mind against a second hour of programming on Warner Media stations, but Tony Khan confirmed that was still in the works. Speaking with Wrestling Observer Radio, Khan confirmed that was still not going to be the other hour on TNT or other stations, but the company would continue to run two shows on TNT and the two Dark shows.
“We’ll have the two Dark properties and the two TNT properties and I’m really excited about it. I think we’re ready for it.”
While no news or anything have been announced for the second TNT show, it seems much of it was held up due to the pandemic. Khan has confirmed the second show will launch at some point this year, so judging by the looks of it, AEW will be available to wrestling fans four days a week.
