Adam Cole recently turned on the group he used to lead, the Undisputed Era, on NXT programming.
It has been known for quite sometime that Adam Cole wants to face 2 time WWE Hall of Famer, Shawn Michaels, and has been compared to a younger Michaels by fans throughout his career.
WWE on FOX recently tweeted out asking fans to pick one current WWE star and one WWE legend for a dream match. Adam Cole made sure that he tagged Shawn Michaels and make it known to the two time Hall of Famer that he wants a shot.
Adam Cole in the past commented on the comparisons he gets to Shawn Michaels and how he feels about it:
“To me, there is no bigger compliment that someone could possibly say. Someone can say there are comparisons to Adam Cole and Shawn Michaels. It’s mind-blowing to me, especially when I’m thinking about nine-year-old me. Our entire generation can share this opinion that Shawn Michaels is the greatest pro wrestler of all-time to ever do it. He is the absolute best. So any time people make these comparisons, it’s incredibly humbling.”
