The Wednesday Night Wars may be coming to an end.
After WWE moved NXT to the USA Network to counter program AEW Dynamite, now it seems the show will be leaving Wednesday nights. The Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast has reported a reliable source told them NXT will be moving to Tuesday night starting April 13th.
Spectrum’s Jon Alba RTed it with a response of his own, hinting there might be quite a bit to the story as well.
NXT has fallen behind Dynamite in recent weeks, and its ratings have fluctuated the same as Dynamite, but while it continues to lose both in viewership and the coveted 18-49 demographic, it seems like moving NXT might help get more eyes back on the show as it recovers from being moved from the WWE Network.
