Charlotte Flair was back on Raw last night and before her match against Shayna Baszler, she made it crystal clear that she’d like to be at WrestleMania this year against Asuka. While Asuka wasn’t on the show to respond to her challenge, it also led to a lot of groaning and acrimony online, as many people are a little frustrated that it seems that Flair will be heading towards a shot against the Raw Women’s Champion at WrestleMania.
Another person who happened to be annoyed with the developments is the mother of WWE Superstar Peyton Royce. Royce’s mother was on Twitter following Flair’s challenge and said she should be giving other people a chance as well.
Of course you do. How about giving others a try.
Royce’s mother’s account is private, so another site was the one who got a screenshot of her tweet. And while it may earn the laugh of a few stars for a mother sticking up for her daughter, many fans seem to agree with Royce’s mother that it’s time for someone else to get a crack at the top of the mountain.
