AEW is promising a brand new signing that’s “hall of fame caliber” at AEW Revolution. With the rumor mill going into overdrive, one person that says it’s not him is CM Punk.
Punk took to Twitter today to have a Q&A session with fans and instantly shot it down in his first tweet so he didn’t get asked repeatedly. Though Punk is probably dead serious about it, he’s not above working people to prevent them from knowing.
Punk is currently working with Stephen Amell to film his new show Heels in Georgia, and while that puts him in the same atmosphere as many of AEW’s stars, Punk wants to make sure the world knows he’s not their next big signing. That now rules out him, along with Christian, who has signed with the WWE.
