It wouldn’t be WrestleMania week without NXT TakeOver. The two have gone hand in hand over the past several years, with TakeOver now an integral part of the WrestleMania weekend experience. And now a report from PWInsider has revealed they may be looking to make a similar move to WrestleMania.
The site has reported that while NXT will be having a TakeOver on April 8th, something we reported just yesterday, there is talk of also making TakeOver a two night event.
There has been talk of the show being the first-ever “two night” Takeover, with part one airing on WWE NXT TV on the USA Network on Wednesday 4/7 and then Part Two continuing the next night on the WWE Network, but with a month to go, that idea could change or evolve.
NXT is looking to be moving to Tuesday nights following WrestleMania, so this could be a grand way to close out their former timeslot before their big move.
