Max Caster earned a spot in the Face of the Revolution ladder match at Revolution this Sunday night, marking a foray into the singles division. Conspicuous by his absence in helping Caster however was his Acclaimed tag team partner Anthony Bowens.
Bowens and Caster have been tearing up the tag team division and just recently fell off the AEW rankings for tag teams, and now it may be a little clearer why. On AEW Unrestricted while Tony Khan was previewing Revolution, he revealed Anthony Bowens is dealing with a knee injury.
While Khan did not give a timeframe or anything that might reveal the severity of the injury, we’re all hoping Bowens recovers quickly. The Acclaimed have become a popular act in AEW and the duo have impressed since being put together as a team, so here’s hoping the duo get back in action soon.
