With the change in tonight’s Buy-In match featuring Britt Baker and a now unknown partner against Riho and Thunder Rosa, people are wondering who Britt Baker might call in to help her against the duo tonight. Rebel (not Reba) has been removed from the match thanks to a dubious doctor’s note that has said she’s not medically cleared to compete. Fans seem to think this is an opening for AEW to bring in Thea Trinidad. This is not the case.
Trinidad is currently on her Twitch channel at the moment, streaming along with fans. While that doesn’t mean she won’t end up in AEW eventually, tonight doesn’t look to be the night. Tony Khan mentioned he has interest, but wanted to wait to speak to her after her no-compete clause ended.
We might see her in AEW eventually, but tonight she seems content to play video games.
