The New Japan Cup’s semi-finals have now been set, as earlier today Will Ospreay defeated Sanada in the main event, whilst David Finlay defeated Jay White to advance to the semi-finals. Will Ospreay and David Finlay will meet in the Semi-finals on the 20th of March, Ospreay made his way to the semi-finals defeating Hiroyoshi Tenzen, Zack Sabre Jr and Sanada and Finlay made his way to the semi-finals defeating Chase Owens, YOSHI-HASHI and White.
On the other side of the Bracket, Evil is set to face Shingo Tagaki, Evil had a bye in the first round, in the second round Evil would defeat Jeff Cobb and then Toru Yano in the quarter-finals. Tagaki made his way to semi-finals, defeating Kazuchica Okada, Hirooki Goto and Kenta. Evil and Tagaki are also set to face each other on the 20th of March, the winner will go on to face the winner of Ospreay and Finlay in the finals on the 21st.
