Due to recent recording schedule conflicts we have not been able to upload our usual episodes to Bodyslam on time but we’re back on track and have plenty of great episodes for you, from the most recent NXT UK review and Brit Wres Round Up as well as 3 fantastic specials. Our specials feature British Wrestling legend Adam “Muscles” Mansfield as well as British Wrestling’s first openly transexual Wrestler, Amber Jo along side her Inter-gender tag team partner Curtis Elliot and most recently Target Wrestling’s Shady Nattrass.
It was another stellar line up for NXT UK with an incredible Violent main event, as Ilja Dragunov once again got a chance at revenge as he faced Sam Gradwell in a no DQ match. Also in action Joseph Connors went one on one with Jack Starz, a much darker Isla Dawn faced off against Aleah James, the debut of Eddie Dennis’ new Hunt with Primate and Tyson T-Bone as they looked to crush Josh Morrell and Danny Jones, plus Trent Seven was a guest on Noam Dar’s Supernova sessions. Andy and Dan discuss all the action and all the angles.
Andy goes through all the latest Brit Wres news from across the British Wrestling scene, including Roster additions, Show announcements, ICW Fight Club results, Progress Chapter 107 results and so much more.
In this Tea and Tights Special Andy and Dan welcome a man who has wrestled some of the biggest names in British wrestling including; Doug Williams, Alex Shane, Johnny Moss, Fergal Devit (Finn Balor), Conner Mills and Jake “The Snake” Roberts, British Wrestling legend Adam “Muscle” Mansfield. As we discuss the demise of World Of Sport Wrestling, working with NWA UK Hammerlock to keep British Wrestling alive and well, we also discuss his time with LDN Wrestling, IPW UK, British Empire wrestling and being part of UKPW’s restart.
On this weeks Special Andy and Dan talk to two up and coming Trainees from the Rev Pro Wrestling School in Portsmouth and the newest Intergender Tag Team set to take to Brit Wres scene by storm, the Vainglorios Athority “The Notorius Angel” Amber Jo and “The Devious One” Curtis Elliot. As we discuss all things wrestling from training at Rev Pro’s academy working with guys like Joel Redman, Kenneth Halfpenny, Curtis Chapman, we discuss the recent Rev Pro Epic Encounters discussing Zoe Lucas, Aleah James and Zoe Lucas, we talk past Idols as well as present Idols as well as all things wrestling including NJPW, Stardom and others.
On This week’s special Andy gets to speak with Scottish Wrestling Veteran Shaddy Nattrass, as they discuss his 20 year career discussing matches with British Wrestling legends and international superstars, as they discuss guys like Paul London, Martin Kirby, Wolfgang, Joe Coffey, Josh Morrell/Turbo Terry and many more. Andy would also talk with Shady about Triple Team Promotions and Target Wrestling as well as the current state of Scottish Wrestling and what the future holds and the future stars of the scene. All this and so much more.
