Bea Priestley wrapped up her time with STARDOM over the weekend, and when a wrestler finishes with a promotion, it usually leads fans to speculate their next move. When it comes to Priestley, her next move won’t be back to AEW.
Priestley was cut by AEW during the pandemic, as she was unable to make any of their tapings during that time. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported how Priestley worked to keep her STARDOM exit a secret, but now that people know, the consensus is that she’s bound for NXT: UK.
“She is moving back to the UK. She has not told anyone what she is doing next which makes them think it’s WWE, because if it’s not then we would probably know. I can tell you for sure it’s not AEW, so it’s probably WWE UK. I can’t say that 100%, but that’s certainly what everyone in Japan feels.”
It was added that apparently the writing has been on the wall for a while Priestley would head to the WWE. Now it seems that the general feeling is she’s signed or will sign imminently.
