John Cena Credits Fans Of K-Pop Group BTS For Helping Him Through A Difficult Point In Life

It’s no secret these days that John Cena is a big fan of K-Pop stars BTS, and it seems like Cena doesn’t just appreciate them but their fans.

Cena was a recent guest on the Ellen DeGeneres show and talked about how the BTS Army (the nickname for BTS fans) helped him through a recent rough patch in his life. Cena might be a megastar in and out of the ring, but he’s still only human and has highs and lows like the rest of us. That said, he wasn’t afraid to credit those fans for being there when he needed someone.

“I was going through a pretty down period in my life, it was about four years ago, and I decided just to have a vulnerable moment and put one of those thought-provoking journal entries out on Twitter. I gotta thank BTS for supporting me in a moment of weakness and turning it into a passion of mine.”

Cena might be missing WrestleMania, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a big 2021 paved for him. He has a role in the upcoming “The Suicide Squad” in addition to the HBO Max spinoff for his character in the film, The Peacemaker. Cena will no doubt get a lot of support in the box office and views from his fellow BTS Army members.
