Poppy Returns To NXT To Perform Live At TakeOver: Stand And Deliver
WrestleMania has started to announce some of their musical acts when Ash Costello revealed she would be performing Rhea Ripley’s theme at the pay per view, but NXT wasn’t going to be outdone.
Billboard has reported Poppy will be returning to NXT to perform on night two of TakeOver: Stand And Deliver, the fourth time she has performed for the black and gold brand. She has previously performed on the show in October of 2019 and twice last year in February and then again in October for Halloween Havoc.
Triple H put over Poppy’s enthusiasm for wrestling in an interview, even revealing Poppy has had similar interest to Bad Bunny about getting into the ring herself.
“Bunny finds himself at a place in his career where he can just say I want to be in the WWE and that’s amazing to me. He got a place in Orlando and he’s been training three times a week for the past three months. He has taken it so seriously. I love those collaborations. And Poppy is like Bunny in the way that every time I see her, she wants to get in the ring and wrestle and start training.”
The report has stated Poppy will be performing a brand new song she will be debuting at the event instead of a familiar track. We will have coverage of Takeover here on Bodyslam.
