New NXT Tag Team Champions have been crowned tonight at Night One of NXT TakeOver: Stand And Deliver. This is a spoiler, so if you do not want to be spoiled, please stop reading.
The team of MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee) defeated Legado del Fantasma and the Grizzled Young Veterans to win the vacant NXT Tag Team Titles. MSK was originally scheduled to receive a Tag Team Title shot, but it was delayed due to an injury to Wes Lee by the hands of the GYV. The shot was put further into the air when one half of the former Tag Team Champions, Danny Burch, was injured during a match where he and Oney Lorcan faced Karrion Kross and Finn Balor. To crown new champions, this triple threat match was made by NXT GM William Regal.
This is MSK’s first reign as the NXT Tag Team Champions.
