NXT Pulls Off Ratings Win On Final Head To Head Wednesday
This week saw the final night of the head to head matchup between AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT. Next week, AEW occupies Wednesday nights all by itself as NXT moves to Tuesday on the USA Network. So who won the last head to head matchup?
Showbuzz Daily has reported that NXT won the final head to head war with 768,000 viewers with AEW only bringing in 688,000 viewers. However, NXT also aired live on Peacock commercial free.
AEW did manage to get a small victory though, as they maintained the 18 to 49 demographic victory with AEW having a .28 in that category to NXT’s .21 in the same. NXT’s viewership went up while AEW dipped slightly, but both went up in the demographic numbers.
NXT went out swinging on Wednesday nights, but now both shows will have more eyes on them hopefully now being on separate nights.
