WWE has spent the last few weeks hyping up Edge vs. Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan for WrestleMania. While Edge won the right to meet Reigns following his Royal Rumble victory, Bryan was inserted thanks to being the victim of shady dealing by Reigns at Elimination Chamber and Fastlane.
Reigns has been vocal on SmackDown about how he feels this does himself and the WWE no favors, and it seems like he might have someone on his side. WWE Official Adam Pearce’s assistant Sonya Deville was revealed to be in agreement with Reigns in a backstage segment last night on SmackDown.
While nothing was made official last night, Peace looked to be heavily considering Deville’s words and WWE made a point to revisit the segment on social media. So while nothing is set in stone, it’s given fans something to consider as they prepare themselves for this weekend’s two night event.
