Randy Orton Puts Over Bad Bunny And Calls Him “A Fellow Performer”

Bad Bunny put a lot of time and effort into making his WrestleMania match special. The Grammy winning pop star reportedly moved down to Orlando to train several days a week at the WWE Performance Center with WWE coaches, wanting to make sure he didn’t look bad or disrespect the WWE. The end outcome had him surprising a lot of people when he and Damian Priest managed to pick up the victory.

One person quick to praise his performance was Randy Orton. Orton might be having his issues with another musician in Soulja Boy, but Orton spoke on WWE’s The Bump and praised Bad Bunny’s performance last night and not only gave him props for his respect to the business but went as far as to say Bunny can be considered a peer and a WWE Superstar.

“We’ve had a lot of people try to step into our world and do what we do, because ‘everyone can do it,’ right? We make it look easy, but it is not. For the first time, but maybe not the first time, but for the first time in this manner I can say that seeing Bad Bunny come into our world, seeing him completely halt his touring schedule, his music, anything he had going on, he stopped it dead in the ring three, four — I’ve seen him, I’ve seen him, there’s practice rings. I’ve seen him in there with trainers trying to get as good as he can get. Two, three, four, five hours a day.”

“That impresses me, and I’ve gotta say thank you to Bad Bunny for having respect for what I do and what everyone else in the locker room does and what WWE does. I appreciate him as a fan, but now I can look over at him and call him a fellow performer in my world.”

Orton even said it was a “breath of fresh air” to have someone like Bad Bunny come to the WWE and show so much respect to what they do. Bad Bunny continues to get high remarks from WWE Superstars and fans for his performance, and it was incredibly well deserved.
