WWE announced their next pay per view is WrestleMania Backlash, but has left out news on Money In the Bank, normally a pay per view fans have seen first lately. Thankfully, it’s still happening.
Ringside News did some digging and can confirm that Money In the Bank will be happening this year, but it has now switched dates with the WrestleMania Backlash pay per view, what seems to be the new name of that particular pay per view.
It was told to them that the decision to swap the shows was made “a long time ago.” Fans didn’t know these shows had been switched until WWE revealed the date for Backlash. While the previous dates are correct, the dates themselves have been swapped. So right now with Backlash on May 16th, Money In the Bank will be June 20th and both events will take place in the ThunderDome at the Yungling Center in Tampa.
