WWE surprised a lot of people when they turned the main event of WrestleMania 37 into a triple threat match. Daniel Bryan was inserted into the match, which may have surprised a lot of people. However, Reigns was always the planned winner.
There’s more to that according to Fightful Select. They have reported WWE made the decision to add Bryan to the main event over a month ago, and after it went over well they decided to set it in stone at Fastlane.
The decision to add Daniel Bryan was a discussion for well over a month before it happened, but was only set in stone to some of the talent the week of Fastlane.
Things tend to reset around this time every year, so what happens next for Bryan is anyone’s guess. However, the future of him, Edge, and Roman Reigns should become clearer after Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
