It’s been two years since we’ve seen her, but it seems like Ronda Rousey will decide to make her return to the WWE on her terms and on her clock.
Rousey hasn’t been on WWE television since WrestleMania 35 when she lost a triple threat match that involved Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and herself. Since then, many fans have wondered when we would see her return and she has finally opened up with that. Rousey was a guest on D-Von Dudley’s Table Talk podcast where after WWE’s President Nick Khan teased she would be coming back “at a certain point in time,” she gave her own response.
“I actually waited until this moment to tell everybody. I don’t know [when I’ll return]. When I feel like it. I’ll come back when I feel like it. Eventually, when I feel like it [Laughs].”
While her original contract expired only a few short days ago, it’s been speculated the WWE and Rousey worked out a deal that would either extend the agreement or that she had signed a new deal. Whatever the case is, WWE continues to utilize Rousey in merchandise and their video games. Even with no confirmed date for her return, it may be certain that when she comes back it will be a surprise.
