Luther From Chaos Project Reveals He Pitched An Idea To Be The Dark Order’s Exalted One

Perhaps one of the most unusual tag teams in AEW is Chaos Project. The unorthodox team of Luther and Serpentico have been entertaining fans who watch Dynamite, Dark, and Dark: Elevation, but the duo definitely didn’t walk into All Elite Wrestling as a team. In fact, when Luther arrived it was for a whole different idea.

Luther and Serpentico were guests on AEW Unrestricted where Luther talked about how he got the invite to come to AEW from his long time friend Chris Jericho as they had him audition to be the Exalted One for the Dark Order. Talking with the podcast, Luther said he had a whole different idea for the group than the way Brodie Lee took it.

“My direction was completely different than the way Brodie [Lee] did or the way anybody else did it. It was kind of I guess more mystical.”

The position eventually went to Brodie Lee and Luther was briefly used in Brandi Rhodes’ short lived Nightmare Collective before they put that aside. Now he seems to have found his niche with his new tag team partner.
