News On AEW’S Plans To Hold Shows Outside Jacksonville This Summer
For the majority of the pandemic, AEW has made use of Daily’s Place in Jacksonville for their home. Whether it’s with an empty arena with just fellow wrestlers in the stands or limited crowd, AEW has used it to their advantage. With the COVID-19 pandemic coming to a close, many people are wondering if this means AEW is looking to start heading back out on the road, but there doesn’t seem to be a guarantee they’ll be making that move in the immediate future.
Although the company began looking at touring towards the end of August, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported the company has no real specific plans to leave Daily’s Place in Jacksonville. While nothing is official, there is a strong chance this year’s All Out pay per view could be at the Sears Center in Chicago.
There are no specific plans for leaving Jacksonville, but they are starting to book tentative dates on the road for Wednesdays starting late summer or fall, but nothing is official. I would suspect odds are good that the All Out PPV will be at the Sears Center in Chicago but that is far from a done deal as the world takes precedence.
Big steps are being taken in the COVID-19 pandemic. Vaccinations are making it easier for gathering and the world is watching cases drop in many areas of the world. While we have no confirmation from AEW, it does seem like the company is making plans for when the world returns to normal.
