Alexa Bliss Talks About Working With Bray Wyatt
For the better part of the last year, one of the most intriguing stories in the WWE has been the relationship between Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss. Bliss has evolved as a character in interesting twists and turns since the start of their pairing and a new chapter began at WrestleMania 37 when she seemingly turned on The Fiend.
Bliss spoke to the Sports Guys Talking Wrestling Show about her partnership with Wyatt and while she doesn’t know who came up with the idea to pair them, she had nothing but good things to say about working with him and the creative freedom it’s given her.
Honestly, I don’t really know [whose idea it was to pair me & Bray Wyatt] at first, because I was told that I was gonna do a little insert in the Swamp Match that him and Braun [Strowman] had, because I was Braun’s Mixed Match Challenge partner and I don’t think I was supposed to be anything more than that but it kinda evolved into what it is now because you know, Braun and I did have a long history in WWE and then we were able to kind of play off of that and it really, it worked really well, and it’s been really fun and it’s been the most creative freedom that we’ve had in a sense but it’s also been one of the most challenging characters and the most fun.
Right now, it seems like the next chapter between them is seeing her turn her back on him. While no one quite knows where it will lead, fans remain highly invested in the pairing and the potential it still has.
