Backstage News On Last Monday’s Raw
This past Monday’s Raw was unlike any other post-Raw WrestleMania. Besides the lack of fans, there was a lack of twists and surprises fans have become accustomed to in the WWE. No shock returns or debuts, leading to many fans being disappointed. It turns out that the show had some issues we were unaware of.
Fightful Select has reported that the company was short handed for Monday’s show. The opener between Bobby Lashley and Riddle wasn’t even in the show’s original script, as many wrestlers were more banged up or not cleared after Mania than normal.
A couple of wrestlers were sidelined as a precautionary measure due to COVID-19 symptoms. While it wasn’t mentioned whether or not they tested positive, they were sidelined just to be safe. Considering no one is sure about their status, it was just said the show “was just shorthanded in general.”
We’ll have to see what happens on Monday’s Raw, but things were certainly interesting to say the least even if it wasn’t what fans were hoping for.
