With the next pay per view now called WrestleMania Backlash, it seems like WWE is determined to have a lot of follow up from the pay per view, and it seems like one of those follow ups will be from a title match.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported the Women’s Tag Team Title scene isn’t likely to change for the pay per view. Despite Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defeating Natalya and Tamina cleanly, it seems like they’re continuing with that program for a rematch at the pay per view. Natalya even scored a victory over Baszler on television this past week, with singles matches between members of tag teams being the usual way WWE seems to set up tag team feuds these days.
It was also mentioned the WWE was going to continue this feud through WrestleMania Backlash, but with Jax and Baszler already owning a clean pin over their current challengers it might be difficult to get fans to get behind the idea of a rematch or the feud going longer.
