Adnan Virk Says Vince McMahon Liked His Small Size Because It Makes Wrestlers Look Bigger

Vince McMahon can be particular about certain things when it comes to the WWE, and we’ve started to learn a lot of them through the years. One of them is his fondness for bigger pro wrestlers, and anything that can make them look bigger only helps. Just ask Adnan Virk.

Adnan Virk spoke about his new role on Raw on the Boomer In the Morning podcast, where he talked about his audition for the WWE. One of the parts of the tryout included doing backstage interviews, and he revealed that his small size played into his favor with Vince McMahon because it made the wrestlers look larger.

“Afterwards I interviewed a couple of the WWE stars. And at one point Cole goes ‘your look is great.’ And I’m laughing and asking ‘what do you mean by that?’ And he said ‘your height. Mr. McMahon loves that because it makes the wrestlers look even bigger!’ That’s the first time ever being a little guy is a win. I went home, they called a few weeks later, said ‘hey you got the job.’”

Virk might not do a lot of backstage interviewing since he’s at that announce table, but should they ever put him in that position, Vince will love to see how those interviews come off on television.
