New NXT Tag Team Champions Nash Carter and Wes Lee are MSK, but what does it stand for? Their former Rascalz partner Trey Miguel knows, but he’s not telling.
There has been a few guesses, and some say MSK is a thinly veiled reference to the gimmick the duo had with Trey as members of The Rascalz in Impact Wrestling, but nobody has confirmed anything. Miguel talked about it with the Wrestling Perspective podcast, where he said not only does he know what it stands for but so does the WWE. The amusing thing is they don’t really want that information getting out.
“MSK has a meaning. They don’t know if they want to go with it or not. So, what they were told is, ‘We’re just going to call you MSK and see if the internet comes up with something better than what we have.”
Fans continue to speculate, but it seems like there’s an answer and it may go down in history like where is Springfield in The Simpsons, what part of the world Parts Unknown happens to be in, and how many times has the Player To Be Named Later been traded in professional sports history. Maybe someday WWE will reveal the secret or they’ll take an answer from the internet.
