WWE Moving Two Former Retribution Members To SmackDown
The days of Retribution are clearly over, as it looks like the group is splitting to two different brands.
Reports from Mike Johnson at PWInsider and John Pollock of POST Wrestling have Reckoning and Slapjack moving to SmackDown. Johnson reported the story about Reckoning while Pollock confirmed the report and revealed Slapjack would be moving as well.
Formerly Mia Yim and Shane Thorne, it’s unknown if the two will retain their Retribution personas or be revert to their previous names or even new personas. Reckoning hasn’t had a televised match since December 28th on Main Event against Nikki Cross, while Slapjack was last seen in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the SmackDown before WrestleMania.
Mace and T-Bar were on Raw last week, seen attacking Drew McIntyre while it seemed to be under direction from MVP. They look to be following up on that angle tonight on Raw.
Retribution split up as a group at Fastlane, abandoning Mustafa Ali, and while both stars are still listed on the Raw roster on the WWE website, it seems this is the direction WWE is taking Reckoning and Slapjack.
