Kurt Angle Says Triple H Asked Him To Do Training Sessions At The WWE PC
Kurt Angle has often been spoken about as one of the best in-ring performers ever, and Triple H put over how quick Angle learned the business. It was that talent that Triple H hoped Angle could use to help the next generation of talent at the Performance Center.
Kurt Angle spoke on Triple H offering him a chance to help train stars at the WWE PC on the Kurt Angle Show, where he said Triple H asked him to perform monthly training sessions. The plans didn’t seem to pan out, but Angle is hoping to have another opportunity to be asked in the future.
“Well, I would consider doing it. It’s something that I enjoy doing. You know, Triple H offered me a job I believe too, you know, train wrestlers. He wanted me to come down once a month to NXT. Nothing transpired from it, but you know, maybe in the future, there might be some possibility. I like training people. I just don’t have a lot of time right now to do it. Believe it or not, even including in this pandemic, but I’m good at training people. I’m good at teaching people stuff.”
Angle recently said he ruled out going to AEW out of loyalty to the WWE, and it seems he’s ready to do his best to help train the up and coming stars of NXT.
