Plenty to look forward to when it comes to tonight’s NXT UK, with four huge match ups scheduled its going to be an action packed night of wrestling.
Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven vs Sha Samuels and Noam Dar
This feud has been bubbling since last year, when Noam Dar was able to twist Tyler Bate’s words about A-Kid and the Heritage Championship. All of Dar’s moaning and manipulating lead to a Heritage rules match between Dar and Bate at NXT UK prelude, with Sha Samuels and Seven in the corner of their respective partners. Bate would go on to win the match and in doing so became the No. 1 contender for the Heritage Cup Championship, Dar of course continued to moan and with Sha Samuels, they challenged Bate and Seven to tag team match, which they accepted. This will be the first time Bate and Seven have teamed together as Moustache Mountain during the NXT UK BT Studio era.
Dani Luna vs Jinny
Jinny delivered a promo last week about her match with Dani Luna, where she said many unsavoury things about the young competitor, so expect Luna to come into this match looking for some retribution. Although this could be the veterans intention, Jinny is a master manipulator and she could be trying to throw Luna off her game. Jinny will know that she cannot match Luna in terms of strength so will be relying on her experience to pick up the win.
Dave Mastiff vs Sam Gradwell
Following on from last weeks interaction where Mastiff locked Gradwell out of the BT Studios after Gradwell chose to insult him, both competitors have been involved in some high profile matches but both have come out on the loosing side, this should add some extra edge to match with both competitors knowing they need to get a win under their belt.
Eddie Dennis vs Joe Coffey
Dennis blames Joe Coffey for costing him his tag team the Hunt (Wild Boar and Primate) after the Tag Team championship match against then tag team champions Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang). As such Dennis had his new Hunt (Tyson T Bone and Primate) jump the members of Gallus, whilst they were guests on Noam Dar’s Super Nova Session last week.
NXT UK will be available to watch on the WWE Network from 8pm GMT for the UK, Peacock Stream service in America from 3pm EST. NXT UK will also be available in the UK on BT Sports 1 at 10pm Friday and 8pm on Saturday.
