Christian Cage shocked everyone returning to the world of pro wrestling at the Royal Rumble. While many people seemed set to think he’d be back with the WWE, the bigger surprise after his return came when he ended up with All Elite Wrestling.
Cage was the recent guest on AEW Unrestricted and they asked him if he had any people he would have loved to work with in the WWE had he stayed, where he mentioned two stars fans would probably have loved to see him work with as well in Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
“I would say probably Kevin Owens. I really like the passion that he has. I like the way that he delivers his promos. I think he’s fearless when he delivers his promos. I think that he’s a fearless competitor in the ring as well. I just like his style. Sami Zayn as well. I thought, especially this character the way it is now, we could have done some pretty special things. So off the top of my head, I would say probably those two guys.”
Cage is still getting a chance to work with some new talent, as he’s starting a feud with Team Taz on AEW Dynamite. With young stars in the group like Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs he can work with, he can do a lot to help AEW’s up and coming stars as much as he can the WWE.
