Mojo Rawley Says He Was Not Released Before His Announced April Date
Yesterday, a report surfaced that Mojo Rawley had actually been released long before the April releases he was lumped into. The former WWE Superstar even announced that he had his next chapter starting on May 31st, a date far before a 90-day release clause would kick in. However, Rawley has denied that he was released earlier.
Fightful Select talked to Rawley about the report, where he denied it. Rawley said “just an hour prior to Rawley’s release being publicly announced, he was still under the impression he was with the company.” Whatever the case is, he is remaining firm that he was released on April 15th.
Many people believe the story started when he said his next chapter would begin on May 31st, but it apparently has nothing to do with his 90-day non-compete clause. However, he hasn’t confirmed what that date stood for. We’ll have to wait until May 31st to see what he has planned.
