Ricky Starks Suffers Fractured Neck, Will Be Out Of Action For Months
AEW Star Ricky Starks will be out of action for quite some time after suffering a fractured neck.
The injury to Ricky Starks was first reported via the Voices Of Wrestling Podcast, and was later confirmed by Fightful – adding that Starks had suffered a “slight fracture” to his neck, which will not require surgery at this time. However, Starks will not be able to take any ring bumps until his injury heals.
While nothing has been confirmed, Ricky Starks landed rather awkwardly on his neck in a match against Hangman Page back on April 21st, leading many to believe that was when the injury occurred.
Starks recently tweeted out that he is doing good, and that he has been doing DDP Yoga, praising it for helping with his flexibility. Starks wrote:
“I’m good! Thank you @DDPYoga for my flexibility.”
We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about the status of Ricky Starks neck injury, or any timetable for his return to an AEW ring.
