The Miz Likely To Miss Several Months Of Action Due To Injury
The Miz reportedly suffered a knee injury during the Zombies Lumberjack Match against Damian Priest at WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday. He didn’t appear on Monday Night RAW.
Now we have some bad news to report. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer noted that The Miz suffered an ACL injury and if it is a severe case, he will be missing anywhere between seven to nine months of action.
“Okay, so he tore his ACL, but we don’t know the severity of the tear. The last I heard is it might be a partial tear so that might not be that serious. If it’s a full tear, you know, that’s surgery and probably, you know 7, 8. 9 months [off]. At 40 [years old], that’s not the best thing in the world. He’ll come back from it, I’m sure he will, but that’s a lot of time off. Hopefully for the best that it’s partial and he can make a quicker recovery. That injury is legit.”
We will keep you updated on The Miz’s condition once we get to know more.
