Former WCW Star Buff Bagwell Arrested On 17 Total Charges
Former WCW and WWE Star Marcus “Buff” Bagwell was arrested in Cobb County, Georgia on Saturday, May 22nd on numerous charges.
Bagwell was arrested and cited for a total of 17 charges, 11 of which were misdemeanors. The 17 combined charges resulted in Bagwell paying $15,840 in bail, he was released Saturday evening.
Buff Bagwell was booked for the following charges:
- Giving False Name, Address, or Birthdate to a Law Enforcement Officer – Misdemeanor
- Speeding – Misdemeanor
- Failure to Yield When Entering an Intersection – Misdemeanor
- Hit and Run; Duty of Driver to Stop at or Return to Scene of Accident – Misdemeanor
- Following to Closely
- Following to Closely
- Reckless Driving – Misdemeanor
- Driving Within a Gore or Median or Emergency Lane – Misdemeanor
- Hit and Run; Duty of Driver to Stop at or Return to Scene of Accident – Misdemeanor
- Driving Under the Influence of Drugs – Misdemeanor
- Duty Upon Striking a Fixed Object – Misdemeanor
- Driving on the Wrong Side of the Roadway – Misdemeanor
- Hit and Run; Duty of Driver to Stop at or Return to Scene of Accident – Misdemeanor
- Following to Closely
- License to be carried and exhibited on demand – Misdemeanor
- Open Container Violation – Misdemeanor
- Hit and Run; Duty of Driver to Stop at or Return to Scene of Accident – Misdemeanor
This isn’t the first run in Buff Bagwell has had with the law. He had previously been in two major car accidents, the most recent occurring back in August 2020 after he lost control of his Chevy Tahoe striking the median, a metal fence, and then a free-standing bathroom at a Cobb County Transit (CCT) bus station. The wreck resulted in Bagwell being hospitalized.
