Jimmy Smith Gives Opinion On Adnan Virk’s Performance As RAW Announcer
Jimmy Smith made his debut on last week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, replacing Adnan Virk on the RAW announce team.
Smith was a guest on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio on Sirius XM, where he talked about his predecessor’s performance as a commentator on RAW. He was asked what his thoughts were regarding Virk’s energy levels and what he honestly thought about Adnan’s performance while working as part of the RAW announce team.
Smith responded by criticizing Virk’s volume level, stating that he had to turn to television volume up because he couldn’t hear Adnan, but would have to turn the volume back down when Graves or Saxton spoke.
“I’m going to be totally honest with you. When I was watching Adnan Virk last time, I had to turn [the volume] up. I had to literally turn it up, and then Corey Graves and Byron Saxton, I had to turn down. Because, I couldn’t hear Adnan and had to turn it up, and when Corey or Byron brought energy it blasted my TV, and I had to keep turning it up and down. I was like, ‘That shouldn’t be happening.’ “
