Chris Jericho Says AEW’s New York Debut Will Make It The Coolest Wrestling Promotion In The World

AEW is always looking to venture into new territories and it did just that as it was recently announced that a special episode of AEW Dynamite called ‘Dynamite Grand Slam’ will be taking place in New York city.

The special episode will be a live episode and will be held at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Stadium in Flushing, New York on September 22nd.

Chris Jericho recently spoke to  The NY Daily News, where he stated that AEW’s debut in New York will make it the coolest pro wrestling promotion in the world.

“It’s a trumpeting call that AEW is back on the road at the highest of levels. It’s ready to take control of New York City. It’s a celebration. It’s a victory. We’ll be vindicated as the coolest wrestling company in the world today. What fans can expect is what we’ve been doing, just at a higher intensity level and a higher energy level because of the people in the crowd giving us more inspiration and more energy and more reward for what we’re doing.”

We will have to see how the show will turn out to be in September itself.
