Nikki Cross’ New Character Was Her Idea And Says She Wants To Blossom Like A Butterfly
On last night’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, Nikki Cross debuted a new Superhero styled gimmick which has received a lot of feedback online, both positive and negative.
Cross (and her new gimmick) successfully teamed with her former tag team partner Alexa Bliss in a Money In The Bank Ladder Match qualifier on RAW against the team of Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.
Many fans took to social media to voice their opinion and criticism over Nikki’s new gimmick, and many chalked it up to another bad idea/decision by WWE creative. However, it appears that Nikki Cross’ new gimmick is completely her idea.
Following her victory last night on RAW, Nikki Cross’ husband WWE Superstar Killian Dain took to twitter to comment on his wifes win and new character. He revealed that Cross’ new look and gimmick was her idea and not WWE’s creative department’s.
“She had an idea and saw it brought to life. Very excited to see whats next! Go go Nikki!!!!”
Nikki Cross also commented on her new character, saying that bring this new character to life has given her such joy. She credited the recent roll she has been on in WWE for giving her the boost that she needed to unveil her idea to the world. She added that she wants to “blossom like a butterfly.”
“Bringing THIS to life has given me such joy. The roll I have been on @wwe gave me the boost I needed to unveil this to the [world emoji], that everyone has that spark and they can try anything they want to, just listen to your heart.
I want to blossom like a butterfly. I want us all to.”
