John Cena Tells Story About Drunken Fist Fight He Got Into With His Brother At His Wedding

WWE Superstar John Cena appeared as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to promote his upcoming movie F9 which hits theaters this Friday.

During the interview Jimmy Fallon congratulated Cena on his recent marriage, and asked him if he had ever experienced any wedding fails. Cena responded by telling a story of his own personal wedding fail which occurred at his brother Dan’s wedding.

Cena goes on to explain that he thought it would be a nice gesture to pay for an open bar, so that everyone could enjoy free drinks after the wedding at the wedding reception. He goes on to tell how this led to a drunken fist fight in the middle of the dance floor between himself and his brother Dan.

“I thought it would be a nice gesture to open the bar. Drinks are on me, that’s my gift to the bride and groom. Nobody would have to pay for anything.“

“I found out it was a mistake when my brother Dan and I got into a fistfight in the middle of the dance floor and closed the wedding down.“

“Yeah, and you could tell right then and there who were guests and who were a member of the Cena family. Because the guests were like ‘what should we do to stop it?!’ and the Cena family are like ‘No, No. Let them figure it out.’ “
