Exclusive: The Young Bucks And Others About Missed This Week’s Dynamite Due To Travel Issues

AEW held their final episode of Dynamite from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida before the company returns to a live touring schedule next week on Wednesday night. The opening match of the night saw Eddie Kingston & Pénta El Zero Miedo defeat AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks.

However, the match almost didn’t happen. The Young Bucks, Brandon Cutler and Referee Rick Knox barely made it to Jacksonville on Wednesday in time for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

They were all scheduled to fly out of California Tuesday afternoon to Dallas, where they would then connect on a flight to Jacksonville later that night but plans changed. Their flight to Dallas was delayed, which caused them to miss the connecting flight to Jacksonville leaving all four stuck in California scrambling for other options.

Eventually, they were all able to find a direct flight out of California early Wednesday morning to Orlando. The group took a shuttle ride from the original airport in Ontario to LAX early Wednesday morning, where they boarded a plane for Florida. Once they finally arrived in Orlando, a half day behind schedule, they were able to take another two hour and fifteen minute shuttle ride from Orlando to Jacksonville in time to get ready for Dynamite later that night.

With a short turnaround, everyone boarded a flight early this morning and flew back to California. Making their stay in Florida for this week’s Dynamite less than 24 hours in length.

Hopefully things go smoother for everyone next week when AEW takes Dynamite on the road for the first time in 60 weeks, when the company heads to Miami for Road Rager.
