Moose recently signed a new multi-year deal with IMPACT Wrestling for what was said to be a “substantial increase” from his previous deal with the company.
Prior to his re-signing with IMPACT there was apparently a lot of interest in Moose from other companies, especially from WWE. According to a report via Fightful Select, there was a lot of interest in Moose from WWE, so much that the plan was for him to skip NXT and go straight to the main roster.
“We’re told that there were hope that Moose could get signed and head straight to the main roster.”
Moose recently challenged Kenny Omega for the IMPACT World Championship at IMPACT’s Against All Odds PPV, but was unsuccessful in reclaiming the belt for the IMPACT roster. Moose appears to be a cornerstone for IMPACT wrestling going forward as the company appears to have invested a lot in the former NFL star.
