WWE Hall Of Famer Terry Funk Disabled And Suffering From Dementia
Terry Funk was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009 along with his brother Dory. Funk began his career in 1965 and wrestled for over five decades as he wrestled his last match in September of 2017.
According to another wrestling legend Terry Funk is currently dealing with some serious health issues, and it sounds like the Hall of Famer is in pretty rough shape.
On a recent episode of Don Muraco’s Magnificent Podcast, Muraco gave an update on Terry Funk’s health and condition. He stated that he has heard that Funk is suffering from dementia, and that he is currently disabled and is in an assisted living home down in Amarillo, Texas.
“I heard that Terry Funk is in a home and disabled for dementia. Yeah. I spoke with Scott Casey over the weekend. I guess he’s all the way down in Amarillo, Texas. So I don’t know. I know his wife passed away two or three years ago. I don’t know who he’s with or what’s going on.”
We would like to send our well wishes and thoughts out to Terry Funk and his friends and family.
