WWE’s ratings have not been what they once were, and now it seems as though the networks may have some ideas on how to fix that.
According to Andrew Zarian on the most recent episode of the Mat Men Wrestling Podcast he was told that Stephanie McMahon has a meeting scheduled with one of the networks (USA or Fox) at the end of the month. The purpose of the meeting is said to be for the network to pitch ideas, it wasn’t specified which network Stephanie is slated to meet with.
“I don’t know which network it was but somebody told me that Steph has a meeting with one of the networks at the end of the month for pitched ideas from the network. I don’t know if this is a common thing that they do or if this is a regular thing but I know that the networks are pitching ideas.”
WWE’s dwindling ratings are obviously an issue internally within the company, but now appear to be a concern of one of the two (if not both) networks.
We will keep you updated when we hear more about Stephanie McMahon’s reported meeting with one of the networks at the end of the month.
