The 2021 WWE Money in the Bank PPV took place tonight in Ft. Worth, Texas and saw the return of fans for the first pay-per-view since WrestleMania 37.
The RAW Women’s Title was on the line as Rhea Ripley defended her tonight against Charlotte Flair.
The crowd was heavy on the boo’s when Charlotte Flair initially came down to the ring, but during the course of the match.. much like Rocky IV.. Charlotte was able to win the appreciation of the crowd over to a chorus of “this is awesome” chants.
In the end, Charlotte was able to focus her attack on the right leg of Ripley, and lock in the Figure 8 for the tap out victory, and NEW RAW Women’s Champion.
