Karrion Kross was Reportedly Set to Lose on RAW for 2nd Straight Week
NXT Champion Karrion Kross suffered his first loss in the WWE at the hands of Jeff hardy in his Monday Night RAW debut last week. According to reports, things weren’t going to get any better the second time around for the reigning NXT Champ.
According to a report from Fightful.com, Kross was set to lose yet again to Jeff Hardy this week on RAW. Plans were changed when Hardy tested positive for Covid-19 over the weekend.
The plan for Kross to lose another match to Hardy reportedly “baffled” many of the creative writers and wrestlers within WWE. Most are reportedly still scratching their heads at the decision to have Kross lose at all, let alone two weeks in a row.
With Hardy out, Kross’ opponent was changed to recent-returnee Keith Lee. The NXT Champion defeated Lee via submission this past Monday on RAW.
