The last time we saw the two-time UFC champion was in a match against Brock Lesner in Saudi Arabia loosing in pretty quick fashion. He was then released from the WWE early on in the pandemic .
In a recent interview with In This Corner with Cyrus Fees, Velasquez raveled that he will be returning to AAA, a company he had previously worked with in his first few matches in pro wrestling .
I’m doing a show in December for AAA. and I’m going to keep doing that right now. I love WWE as well, but I have to first develop myself in order for me to go out there. I’m going to keep doing stuff and have fun with it.
It is unknow if WWE has an plans to bring back Velasquez in the future but only time will tell.
