Bray Wyatt Has Been Released from WWE
In a shocking turn of events, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt has been released from WWE.
In a tweet from WWE’s official Twitter account (which was deleted and then re-posted moments later), the company announced the release of the multi-time World Champion.
Wyatt has not been seen on WWE programming since WrestleMania 37 this past April, where he lost to Randy Orton in the opening match on the card.
The Bray Wyatt character has been a mainstay in WWE since the summer of 2013. The former “Eater of Worlds” experienced an up-and-down tenure in the promotion, despite capturing the World Championship on three separate occasions. One of those reigns coming as recently as this past year.
There is currently no word on if Wyatt asked for his release, or if WWE decided to part ways with “The Fiend” of their volition.
