There’s never a dull moment on The Young Bucks’ Twitter account.
In their latest updated bio, the team has teased a future dream match against arguably the greatest tag team in WWE history, The New Day.
The updated bio is a clear callback to a tweet the team put out in December of 2018, that time instead hyping a match with The Revival (now known as FTR in All Elite Wrestling). The former Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder would go on to be released from their WWE contracts and have their much-anticipated match with The Bucks just seven months later.
The Young Bucks, along with AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, are no strangers to The New Day. The two trio’s once shared a stage for a street fighter competition at E3 2018. Not to mention that Omega and New Day member Xavier Woods have had a relationship dating back to The Best Bout Machine’s time in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
It doesn’t appear as if The New Day is leaving WWE anytime soon, if ever, but there’s no doubt that a match between the eight-time WWE Tag Team Champions and The Elite would be one of the biggest matches of this generation.
