AEW Sells Out United Center For ‘First Dance’ Rampage Special
Last week on AEW’s Fight For The Fallen it was announced that the second-ever Rampage would be taking place live from Chicago’s United Center. After the announcement was made Darby Allen cut a promo seemingly hinting at a Cm Punk debut in Chicago. Chants of Cm Punk filled the Bojangles Coliseum in North Carolina.
A few weeks ago we reported that AEW was interested in the United Center as a potential venue for an upcoming show. Tickets flew out of the box office at a record pace, with over 11,000 tickets selling over the duration of the pre-sale event . This morning tickets went on sale for the general public andWrestleTix who have been keeping a close eye on the ticket sales reported at the time there were only 1020 tickets available and once they went on sale were sold almost immediately.
“First count I grabbed was 1,020. Mostly 200 section seats made available. In 5 minutes they are all gone (some could re-emerge if someone doesn’t complete transaction). SOLD OUT.”
AEW might open more seats once they figure everything out from a production standpoint, but any tickets they free up will most likely go just as fast.
